The Rocky Mount Area Association of Realtors,  in an effort to increase community involvement, raise money for local charities, and bring a positive outlook and revitalization to the city of Rocky Mount, our Board of Directors is hosting their second annual non-profit June German semi-formal dance. 

This event will take place at Factory 633 2721 S Halifax Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27803 on Saturday, June 15, 2024  from 6:00-10:00 pm featuring "The Ray Band". A Prime Rib Dinner catered by Cokey Swamp Catering and a cash bar will also be provided.

Tickets are $35 per person must register by June 10th

Sponsors will receive a set amount of free tickets based upon their sponsorship level.

The history of the June German dances in Rocky Mount can be traced back to the 1870’s! This was an iconic event for Rocky Mount in its heyday and was covered by Life and Parade magazine, The New York Times, and The Saturday Evening Post. Well-known bands from near and far used to come to Rocky Mount to play live music until the early morning hours. Celebrities were even known to come into Rocky Mount to participate in the festivities. This annual event lasted for decades until it eventually began to fade out over time in the late 1970’s.
